Is my banking information safe?
Your banking information is private and is protected by firewalls, filters and routers. Please refer to the security section of our online banking service for more information on security.

Our online banking service uses the highest level of encryption technology available. Please check your browser to determine which level of SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) encryption is active. This prevents your information from being deciphered by unauthorized individuals.

What about funds transfers? How am I protected?
Funds can only be transferred between your own accounts which you authorize. No funds can be transferred outside the bank. All consumer funds transfers are protected under the Electronic Funds Transfer Act. Please refer to the back of your account statement for further information.

Is my personal information safe if I apply for a loan using your website?
The bank complies with all aspects of the Fair Credit Reporting Act, the federal law designed to promote accuracy, fairness, and privacy of information. Accordingly, we protect your personal information and do not share it with other organizations.

Can someone else access my online banking information?
Online banking can only be accessed with a unique user identification and password. Should you lose your password, or believe that someone has discovered it, please change your password immediately or call us at 870-338-6451.

Who regulates Internet banking?
Our web site and online banking service, as with all banking operations, are subject to the rules and regulations set forth by the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency. Additionally, we have internal controls to maintain the safety and soundness of our operation. Helena National Bank employs a full-time internal auditor and is also subject to annual external audits.
